Hi friends! Recently my friend Trica had a big birthday and asked me and another friend to join her for a girls weekend in Vegas. She even wanted to include Angela in on the fun. Here’s our weekend in pictures!
Now before we even got on the plane, we got all ready, and then our phones started sending us notifications letting us know our flight was delayed, delayed again, and then canceled to be rescheduled for the following day.
While this was not the news we wanted to hear, our kids were already taken care of and my house was empty since Eric took the kids to the grandparents, so we had a slumber party at my house! It was a hoot!
We went to the grocery store and got ice cream for that night and stuff to make breakfast in the morning. The girls had never seen Pride and Prejudice so I MADE them watch it.
The next morning we slept in and made homemade Egg McMuffins. They were out of this world.
Ok! So bags packed again, and back to the airport where we ran into a friend’s husband! Vegas here we come!
Landed, grabbed our rental car and were on our way to the strip. We met Angela at the Venetian and were all ready to do some sight seeing when it just started POURING buckets. So…we went to get Thai Food for dinner.
So, we wrapped up the night with great food, and a Strawberry Pie, and went to bed at Angela’s home. The next morning we got ready for church where Angela’s husband John is the pastor. It was SO wonderful to take friends from my current church, to meet my Vegas friends.
After Inn and Out we went shopping, did our nails and then we all piled in the bathroom to get ready for a night out!
We hopped in the car and went to the Paris hotel for dinner.
After dinner and a Cirque Du Soleil show we went home full of life! The next day I woke up early to make cinnamon rolls and then we packed up, hugged goodbye to Angela and her family, and went to the Hoover Dam.
What a wonderful weekend together! Let’s do it again!
